Reading Daisy’s July 3rd story reminded me to tell you about how I have calmed down!

Here I am in my new Calming Collar, it’s filled with good smelling herbs. You know I’m not so keen on the twins, or David, and Kristopher I can take or leave, and lately I’ve gotten much grouchier so Mom had to take action.

Now that I am a little less “on edge” I can even eat chicken with the others without hissing. Before the collar I wasn’t allowing Krishna upstairs, now I let her eat near me and sleep next to Mommy on the bed, as long as I get enough Temptations and a good brushing. I will even let David sleep on the bed too, but not to close to me.

I am giving a two paws up to Calming collars, and you can see pictures of other happy pets here!

PS) They also make collars for motion sickness and cooling collars too.

A few times this summer, while walking down these narrow, tourist filled streets of Provincetown, I have caught the distinctive, classic scent of Coppertone suntan lotion, which is great because people are finally realizing that sunbock is important.
But I have also been objected to the most horrible influx of Patchouli wearers since attending that hippie craft fair in Northhampton. I urge you, be respectful of others and don’t wear Patchouli. Ever. End of Post

Recent Capes Treasures customers have exclaimed,
“Thank goodness your not playing Michael Jackson…every other store in Provincetown is!” I have been on a Barry Manilow kick. “Farrah got shafted” is the general feeling among vacationers and I must agree. The woman was a Hair-do icon.

Mom caught me eating some spinach yesterday…in the spirit of the Provincetown Blessing of the Fleet Portuguese Festival she bought spicy tofu Portuguese sausage for the tofu prt of her typical breakfast of brown rice, and greens …my favorite part was the spinach!

Here’s Marcy showing what it looked like with Soygurt drizzled on it. She puts that Soygurt on everything…we liked it more when she put butter, cheese, and bacon on everything.

The parade is big event during the “Port-a ghee” Festival (as locals call it)…here is the famous Provincetown Town Crier and a very colorful lady.

Here is cart that could be used to haul Cod, or that Portuguese wine that, if spilled on Nana’s credenza, will instantly strip the finish off.

I, David personally did not go into town to see this parade, since my daily request to go outside was denied, but mom said the best part of the parade was The Coffee Pot float, which was a bunch of people sitting at a table drinking coffee on the back of flat bed truck, one of them head down furiously texting. This is something you see everywhere these days, sadly even on vacation. Beauty of nature surrounding them: whales, sanddunes, sunsets, lush gardens, a Cher drag queen on a scooter, and the occssional dude in “fanny-less” leather chaps, and they’ re looking down typing away! Well there he was, instead of munching on a fritter and waving to the crowd, he was texting! Something big must have been foot becuse when the float stopped to allow the dancers some space, he lept off and ran down the street!

View from MacMillian Peir right beore thunderstorms hit…no the black frame around the photo is not an artistic effect, the shuttery thing on my camera is unwilling to open 100% so I’ll need a new one. Daisy and Harley ’s mom consistently takes knockout photos so maybe I’ll get a camera like hers. My requirements would be somewhere in the $400. price range and bought locally…Looks like a trip to the city (Orleans) is in order. So stay tuned for better photos.

Thank You and enjoy Photohunt!

I was over at Alex’s Blog and he was reporting on The LOL Cat Bible Translation Project. What the Hoomin Beanz have done is translate the common household bible, which one would find in any hotel room or in Nanna’s fancy cabinet next to the Bushmills, into LOL speak. LOL Speak has been popularized globally by the wildly successful site I Can Has Cheeseburger.
So I encourage you to have a read if your so inclined…LOL Speak can be intimidating for the novice, but there is a guide: How to Speak LOLCat

All Mine!
Unfortunately, the video file of David folding the laundry is too big to upload here, if you “friend” CapesTreasures on Facebook it is viewable there.
