The sun came out in Provincetown today…and lasted all day long!

Stevie is so tired this morning…I was thinking her time may be coming around July 4th…but with the appearance of last night’s angels, it could be here much sooner.
She’s on tough little mother (two litters, mom to Marcy Stein) and still loves to play, eat, and hiss at David and the twins. Stevie is still pretty happy, but she’s thin and small, shrinking like so many moms before they die. She objects to Reiki treatments, so I’ll just keep doing for her what I can, like rotisserie chicken for dinner tonite. Remember, every little pat on the head matters.
Here are two angel photos I took tonite. I was listening to the WOMR membership drive this morning and EarthSky reminded me to look for the cresent moon, so I went out after work to do just that. Those scientists always have something interesting to say…but hey, whoa…I captured some angels out in my backyard! I first photographed them when moving into Capes Treasures in Provincetown. I had no idea what they were but Matthew said they were Angels watching over me. I thought I saw a couple of those weird little energetic things scurrying about the shop today. How magical!

Here’s tonight’s rainbow…as seen heading out of Truro tword Wellfleet.
And here’s my sad attempt at cropping three pics together…it wasn’t till I got home that I thought, “Maybe I have a setting on the camera for this sort of thing? It is the biggest “full” rainbow I have ever seen so I had to try and document it. I don’t know if a rainbow was visible in Provincetown tonight, but if it was, I’m sure it would not have gone unnoticed with literally 2 thousand college-age lesbians drinking and hollering in the street already. I continue to be dissapointed with the Provincetown Police and their lack of enforcement of the open container laws, but I guess I can manage to be grateful at least they are not loaded themselves behind the wheel…I think we’ve had enough of that with the Firefighter OUI incident last Nov… All’s OK with Provincetown voters, they approved funds at town meeting to purchase a new truck.
Mom went to Star Trek again! First time she went to Imax and didn’t come home untill 2am. Almost as exciting as the movie was some geeks she overheard at Legal Seafoods in Natick saying that Linux has been adopted by about 66% of the population…that makes Mommy very happy. At least this time she came home earlier, and after making me pose with this bear, gave us HAM!
My friend Daisy is now starring on her own Hallmark greeting card!

Here are some shots of Kristopher and Little Stevie helping me clean behind the fridge and under the bed.

Back up your Hard Drive at the end of your day! I cannot stress this enough. My 2 month old Dell laptop crashed last week and all could have been lost if not for my friend Mike’s ultra fabulous script found
I plug in my external harddrive at a set time every night and all my new files are copied automatically while I’m sleeping. Everything was right there after the crash: pictures, music, bookmarks, passwords, and every little bit of custom tweeking I had done. Your files are important, that’s why you bothered to save them…so please backup and keep every pet photo, and pie recipe safe. Speaking of pie, Summer is a great time to bake a nice fruit pie for your IT guy.
