Am I looking good, or what? Well I am a little thin these days…Mom says it’s Ok, I still have a great appetite. I’m just getting a little smaller in my old age…cuz that what little old ladies do.

But if you are eating a lot and still losing weight, your mom might want to have you tested for hyper-thyroidism. It’s very common, Annie was diagnosed in September and she’s only 9 years old. Easily treatable via meds (pill or transdermal), or cured by the radioactive iodine treatment (I-131).
We hope you are healthy, though!

You look fine to us. But we have to agree with Fuzzy tails, that it wouldn’t hurt to have a Thyroid test. There have been two cats here with the thyroid problem and we just take two pills a day. Or the other treatment of the radioactive iodine treatment. But you don’t look too thin at all. And us older kitties do tend to stay a little thin.Squeaky was thin for five years.
