Marcy Stein was the first Abyssinian cat to come live with me…She is named after a special girl who was a waitress at the time. Marcy has grown to be quite stout and spoiled; nicknamed “Mommy’s Little Pork Dumplin’”, her favorite foods are: shrimp, chicken, whipped cream, butter, cheese, and ham. She is the daughter of Little Stevie Katz and probably somehow related to Kristopher. Stubbornly demanding, and most frequently in need of attention and food, she is forever my little girl. When Marcy purrs, it is like a bird song and reminds me of the Bhagavad Gita, my favorite book. Being Abyssinian, she is very helpful and involved in my daily activities. My favorite Marcy Stein story is from her first Thanksgiving ( when my mom and dad met her )…she jumped up to help my father peel potatoes and put her little paw right on this thumb. That’s Marcy!
