Goodbye to a great Mom
Little Stevie Katz was helped back to being unmanifested Saturday evening by the caring staff at Cape Referral and Emergency Center.
The past few months had been a little rough and she took a fast turn for the worst Thursday evening. A week before she had a very joyful play session with one of her beloved mousies from Ginger Jasper.

She was a good mom to Marcy Stein

She looked at me and asked me to make the decision. I got the carrier and she walked into it.
Her favorite thing besides chicken was being brushed
So I gave her a gentle going over right before she floated away, purring in my arms.
The dream is not over,
The dream is just away
And you will fly
like some little wing
straight back to the sun
The dream was never over
The dream has just begun

Purrs for Little Stevie
Little Stevie Katz here…I’m not doing too good. I’ve been throwin up a lot and I’m real tired. I’m not even harassing the twins. I’ve had 2 litters, lived a good life with Mom and one of my daughters, Marcy Stein, but I am stubborn and am not just going to go running into the white light.
Four years ago I lost some weight and they found a dark cirle on my x-ray, the docs wanted to send me to the city, hours away and maybe do some Chemotherapy. Mom took me home loved me up alot and tried Reiki on me. I held steady for all this time, but it might be time to give up on this body and move on. Please purr a little for me.

Mom’s going Macrobiotic
Mom’s been going to Macrobiotic cooking classes at B Natural Market in P-town, so in the spirit of Yin and Yang we have two videos today:
First the Yang
Then the Yin

The eXperiment…or…Blood on the Babygate
Summer like weather made a brief visit to Cape Cod so Mom decided to try something!
See this: a table and umbrella, laptop and tea, and a baby gate which allows cats on the deck!!!
It’s like something out of a dang travel magazine!

Checking out the scene!
David relaxes…Mom is thrilled!
But David got restless…
And jumped over the gate….
Mom leaned over to snatch him up and he scratched up her lip real nice, blood gushed!
SO it was time to go back in…
Sorry Marcy…I did not run away!

“W”….we are worried

Mom says neither cats nor humans need to worry, everything is always alright.
We’ll just be alert then.

A to Z blog challenge “M”
The lady over at Bombastic Bandicoot has proposed an April A to Z blog challenge: Can you post every day except Sundays during this month? And to up the bar, can you blog thematically from A to Z?”
Today’s post is MOUSIES!.

These Mousies came all the way from Ginger Jasper in the UK!! David thought he had a firm grip on them but they belong to Stevie!

Well, Ok I’ll just kiss these American Mousies!

Have you seen the new Mousies over at CasbahKitten?
Kitties want these!

Can you believe Arjuna the timid twin once caught a mouse? It’s true.
OK kitties, must go think hard for tomorrow…the letter “N”.

A to Z Blog Challenge…”K”
“K” is an easy one for us! We enjoy kicking the stuffing out of these toys from Mom’s shop called “Rear Leg Kickers”!
Little Stevie Katz with a few more pounds on her.
Last winter we played Paw-it-Furward with Your Daily Cute

And one of the wonderful things she sent was this oversized wild thing kicker!!
Kibble also starts with “K”
Mom loves this photo even though it’s not even one of us. We have never fallen asleep while eating, eating is serious business!

Quilt.
